Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Operations and Communications Specialist to manage our business operations, communications, and strategic initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing operational processes, managing training programs, ensuring compliance, and providing critical support to our Senior Vice President of operations. Your expertise across various operational domains and your commitment to excellence will drive our success in maintaining high standards of accountability and quality.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and refinement of operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Continuously assess existing processes for improvement opportunities and implement innovative solutions.
  • Cultivate a culture of quality and continuous improvement through effective training and support initiatives.
  • Strengthen employee-led activities aligned with our company culture, promoting inclusivity. Play a critical role in the culture team to drive an inclusive, empowered, and values-driven culture.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Operations to develop and execute strategic communication plans, including content creation and distribution across multiple channels (newsletters, social media, internal and external).
  • Maintain and update the event tracker to ensure consistency and alignment with company objectives, promoting employee engagement and participation.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and logistics to ensure seamless delivery and employee development.
  • Support the implementation of onboarding programs to facilitate the smooth integration of new employees into the company culture.
  • Spearhead strategic growth initiatives while managing business operations. Oversee facilities and infrastructure, including coordinating with landlords and service providers on behalf of the Senior Vice President (SVP). Drive efficiency improvements, ensure optimal working conditions, and support expansion efforts through meticulous planning and execution.
  • Work closely with the Senior Vice President of Growth to drive strategic initiatives and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Align HR processes with organizational goals and legal requirements in collaboration with external advisors.
  • Act as needed as project/alliance manager for new projects for a limited duration. Seek a proactive individual who can initiate projects, liaise internally and externally as required, and deliver results effectively.


Professionally you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, life sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience within the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience in operations, quality, or compliance management, preferably in the biotech, health tech, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading complex initiatives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Right to work in the UK.
