This role will suit a dynamic Head of Business Development to drive growth, refine product-market fit, and expand client base across Europe. This role requires a strong background in private markets and extensive experience in fintech, ideally within the wealth-tech or financial services space.


You will take the lead in driving partnership development with family offices, asset managers, and institutional investors. Work closely with internal teams to refine our platform based on market feedback and oversee the business development pipeline, managing large-scale enterprise-level sales cycles across complex, high-value investments handled by institutional investors.


You must have very deep experience in these markets, understanding the nuances of deal structures, investment processes, market trends, navigate regulations, due diligence, and risk management associated with private assets



The ideal candidate will have: (non-negotiables):



  • 10+ years of business development experience, with extensive expertise in private markets (private equity, real estate, venture capital, etc.).
  • Strong fintech experience, particularly in SaaS platforms or digital financial solutions. (A background in scaling financial platforms, working with SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) models, or deploying enterprise-level solutions.)
  • Proven track record in scaling businesses and building partnerships with institutional investors.
  • Understand the specific needs and decision-making processes of institutional investors (such as family offices and asset managers) and tailor solutions for this high-stakes audience as well as have deep experience in enterprise software sales, specifically in fintech.
  • Our Enterprise sales typically involve longer sales cycles, multiple decision-makers, and highly customizable solutions.
  • Understanding of investor behaviors in these markets and have relationships with high-net-worth investors, institutions, or family offices.



ROLE PROFILE



As the Head of Business Development, you will lead efforts in expanding the business and enhancing the private markets platform. You’ll drive the go-to-market strategy and be instrumental in scaling our digital solutions. A key focus will be on managing and selling platforms that offer full-cycle private market investment tools, such as capital calls, KYC processes, and customizable LP portals with API integration. Your expertise will help streamline private market investing, delivering a seamless experience for institutional clients and investors.

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within fintech, private markets, or investment and asset management software with a proven track record in scaling platforms and driving business growth.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build and inspire high-performing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of private wealth management, investment products (including private equity or private market funds), and enterprise software solutions.
  • Client-Focused: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. You are passionate about delivering world-class service and results for clients.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems, business development tools, and financial systems integration.
