They are seeking an agile and results-driven Sales Manager to lead their IT Services and Telecommunications team. You will drive revenue growth as well as lead the team with an expectation to grow this part of our business stream.
You will have a proven record in B2B technology sales, specifically IT, telco, software and SaaS sales, with an excellent understanding of the Managed IT Services solutions space.
You will have a background in developing IT services with a track record in developing this business stream with year-on-year revenue growth.
You will drive revenue growth through your own exceptional IT sales as well as strategically growing the IT solutions space with the team and for the company.
Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Managed IT sales expertise: proven experience sales within IT, telco, software and SaaS sales
- Business development experience: demonstrated success in business development with a track record of achieving sales goals and growing own portfolio and new clients
- Excellent technical knowledge of managed IT services sales
- Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills
- Commercially astute with the ability to establish and grow client relationships
- Able to identify opportunities whilst managing relationships with customers and key stakeholders
- Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of sales leadership
- Aligned to core values
- Excellent communication skills, face to face with technical and commercial customers at all levels
- Excellent negotiation / influencing skills
- Positive ‘can do attitude and takes responsibility ‘ownership’ to achieve solutions
- Positive proactive can-do work ethic with a resilience drive for improvement and realising new revenue opportunities
- Able to work independently, juggling and prioritising across workloads and consistently meeting sales targets
- High level of personal resilience, adaptable and flexible to manage various situations and ambiguity
- Excellent Microsoft office skills
- Full and valid driver’s licence
