Salary/Package
Up to £100,000 salary + Bonus.
Location: Central London, UK.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of success in a similar role. Full-time sales Managers will need to lead from the front and have the hunger to drive the business forward in terms of results. They will need to possess the skills and qualities required to build and maintain a strong team, ensuring that they are exposed to daily training and coaching.
The individual will have a strong background in sales and business development, Ideally with experience in high-end luxury goods. A proven track record in successful team management is vital and should be accompanied by a desire to learn and progress within the organisation. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to thrive in a target-driven team environment. The role requires someone who is adaptable to change and can take direction from senior leadership.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Proactive and measured outbound sales efforts to build and maintain a diverse client base.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding results.
• A desire to maximise each opportunity whilst maintaining a focus on the long-term progression of the client.
• Take a dynamic approach to sales, pivoting with market trends and external challenges.
• Regular reporting to leadership on team performance.
People Leadership:
• To set clear objectives in line with company/divisional/team strategy and to measure performance against these.
• To conduct regular 121s, hold team meetings and complete thorough probationary, interim and annual appraisals as per company guidelines.
• To coach and mentor the sales team ensuring technical and emotional skills are constantly developed.
• To ensure the sales team meet company standards regarding professional behaviour at all times.
• To ensure recruitment is completed professionally and in line with company goals, thinking strategically about future needs and in line with our diversity goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in B2C sales is essential; 10+ years’ experience leading a team of over 10 people is preferred. Art or the alternatives sector is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, & Outlook) is preferred.
• Experience with the use of CRM systems, ideally Hubspot.
• Expertise in building and motivating sales teams, growing pipelines, and achieving revenue targets.
• A process-oriented and data-driven approach.
• Curiosity to learn new technologies and strategies and articulate them in a way that demonstrates business value to senior leadership.
• Thoughtful and clear communication, and show a strong desire to give and receive feedback promptly.
• High levels of emotional intelligence and time management skills
• Must possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Be prepared to be in the office full-time (5 days a week)
• Possess the ability to grow and thrive in a performance-driven culture where communication and teamwork are key to success.
