Sales Manager

First Point Group is recruiting for a Senior Sales Manager / Sales Director / Business Development Director with previous success selling SaaS / Software Apps / Software Solutions to customers in the Utilities / Energy sector. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of sales experience which will ideally include new logo wins.
Based in London with hybrid-working (minimum 3 days per week in the office).
Our client is a recognised and well-known global technology company whose products include AI Apps which are used by customers across industry verticles. Our client offers a quirky opportunity due to the nature / make up of their business. This headcount arises from further investment into their sales team as our client takes advantages of further success with the view that there is more business to be won.

Job Description:
- Manage the sales-cycle including lead generation, qualification and other deliverables for closing deals while consistently delivering on sales goals by selling innovative solutions and products (including AI Apps) to new customers within the Utilities / Energy sector.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans, working with the Director to set strategic goals for the short, medium and long term.
- Maintain effective and efficient relationships with prospects and customers to ensure maximum sales growth.
- Arranging and conducting face-to-face/virtual meetings, software demonstrations, and follow up calls with new clients.
- Maintaining your knowledge of the company's solutions and services.
- Draft detailed and accurate sales report on progress and sales results.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in selling SaaS / Software Solutions
- New logo wins within Utilities / Energy sector
