Are you an experienced leader in Facilities and Health & Safety, ready to oversee the operations of a prestigious group of 10 hotels across Scotland and the Lake District?
Crerar Hotels is seeking a Director of Facilities and Health & Safety to lead property management and ensure the safety and operational excellence of our unique properties.
About the RoleAs the Director of Facilities and Health & Safety, you will be responsible for the strategic oversight of all facilities, maintenance, and property management across the group. Youll ensure our hotels meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency, protecting our guests, teams, and business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of property management, including maintenance, refurbishments, and facilities operations, ensuring operational excellence.
- Develop and implement group-wide health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and safety training across all sites.
- Lead and manage relationships with external contractors, ensuring value for money and service quality.
- Develop and manage budgets for facilities and health & safety operations.
- Collaborate with hotel General Managers and senior leadership to deliver on operational and guest experience standards.
- Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives across the portfolio.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience in facilities management, property management, or a similar field.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Experience managing multi-site operations, ideally within the hospitality sector.
- Exceptional project management, budgeting, and organizational skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
