JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Representative - Outbound Caller at The Turmeric Co. is responsible for reaching out to potential customers, generating leads, and driving sales of our innovative turmeric-based products. This role is pivotal in expanding our customer base and enhancing the customer experience through effective communication and persuasive selling techniques. The successful candidate will be a key player in the Customer Service team, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the company's growth.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers to introduce and promote The Turmeric Co.'s product range.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products to meet those needs.
  • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly call sales targets and quotas to support our sales efforts.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of calls, sales, and customer information in the CRM system.
  • Follow up on leads and previous interactions to convert prospects into customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to provide feedback and insights from customer interactions.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activities.


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

  • A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience in a sales role, particularly in outbound calling or telesales, is essential.
  • Experience within the health and wellness industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette.
  • High level of motivation and target-driven mentality.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
