Job Description:


The Business Development Manager for the UK is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key corporate clients, and driving revenue growth. This role involves collaborating with various departments to deliver exceptional client experiences, expand the company's presence in the UK

market, and enhance overall business development efforts.


Key Responsibilities:


New Business Development:


  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive company growth within the UK market.
  • Proactively seek out and engage new corporate clients across the UK to expand the customer base.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target sectors across the UK.


Market Expansion and Strategy:


  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential areas for expansion, and the competitive landscape within the UK.
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to penetrate new markets in the UK.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create and execute
  • strategies for market entry and growth specific to the UK market.


Sales and Revenue Growth:


  • Drive sales efforts to achieve and exceed revenue targets in the UK.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, and sales pitches tailored to the needs of
  • prospective UK clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new business in the UK.


Client Relationship Management:


  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with new clients in the UK, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and provide solutions to enhance the client experience.
  • Work closely with the account management team to transition new clients to ongoing account management smoothly.


Reporting and Analysis:


  • Generate reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends within the UK.
  • Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business development strategies and initiatives in the UK.


Cross-functional Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to align business development efforts with company objectives.
  • Provide feedback and insights from the UK market to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Ensure cohesive execution of business development plans across departments.



Qualifications and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in a corporate sales environment within the UK.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing and leading a team.
  • Strong understanding of the UK market dynamics and business environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
