  • Perform Oracle RDBMS administration tasks, including installation, upgrade, patching, and migration.
  • Conduct database and schema refresh using logical backup tools such as exp/imp and Expdp/Impdp.
  • Manage RMAN backups, restoration, and recovery operations.
  • Apply SQL tuning techniques, utilizing indexes, STATSPACK, AWR, and ADDM to optimize database performance.
  • Demonstrate effective troubleshooting skills for database and performance-related issues.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide database support as required.
  • Collaborate with different teams, such as system administrators, tape backup, and network teams, to coordinate database-related tasks.
  • Possess experience in working with ASM (Automatic Storage Management) and RAC (Real Application Clusters) environments.
  • Have knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate for data replication.
  • Document and maintain database policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Work with standby databases to ensure data availability and disaster recovery.
  • Have familiarity with UNIX/Linux, Oracle Linux, and Solaris basic administration.
  • Possess knowledge of Shell scripting.
  • Provide assistance to customers in resolving project-specific and production issues.
  • Collaborate with the Internal Audit team to provide audit-related documentation.
  • Ensure proper management of access controls and document access management policies.
  • Have a basic understanding of MS SQL (Microsoft SQL Server).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Oracle RDBMS administration, installation, upgrade, patching, and migration.
  • Proficiency in logical backup tools such as exp/imp and Expdp/Impdp.
  • Strong knowledge of RMAN backups, restoration, and recovery processes.
  • Ability to analyze SQL performance and optimize using various techniques.
