Leading London Based Wealth Manager is looking for an CDD Onboarding Manager , This is a great opportunity for the right person to lead a team and guide them. This role has great potential for the right person.


YOU WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUS WEALTH MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE.



To be responsible for oversight of new accounts to assess the AML risk factors associated with the relationship and to ensure that the necessary CDD documentation and understanding is obtained on a risk-based approach.

Responsibility and oversight of High-Risk clients in ensuring the appropriate EDD measures have been taken.

Responsibility and oversight of electronic verification searches and screening on all client types to identify possible PEPs, and any other red flags as required. Ensuring rationale and appropriate risk mitigating measures are being adhered to and evidenced.

Refer to the MLRO/ DMLRO/ Head of CDD any non-compliance with the CDD requirements and agree appropriate action.

To chair/ attend High Risk Committee to present High Risk clients for senior management approval.

To deputise for the Head of CDD in their absence.

To contribute to internal/ external audit and compliance monitoring reviews and work on enhancements following feedback/ findings.

To contribute to CDD Onboarding process/ procedures and recommend improvements to ensure the team are working efficiently and always striving to high performance.

Contribute to ad hoc projects relating to CDD/EDD

Receive information from the DMLRO regarding regulatory changes and apply such changes to working practices.

Ensure that new members of the team are trained to follow the CDD and AML procedures and to maintain high standards.

Responsibility and oversight of team productivity by utilising MI reporting

To ensure business wide CDD training is undertaken regularly throughout the year to ensure expected AML standards are met by the FO.

  • To be a focal point of contact for CDD Onboarding matters.
  • To guide and train the CDD team in supporting with risk-based decisions and the rationale to conclusions made.
  • To provide and support with MI to the Head of CDD and other reporting to such committees and Management Groups related to CDD and Financial Crime.
  • To provide the CDD Onboarding Manager with one-to-one support and guidance on CDD matters and decision making for the CDD Onboarding Manager and the wider team to continue to develop and enhance their knowledge and skill set.
  • To ensure the team are achieving good business and client outcomes and that the team’s approach is contributing to the firms’ strategic goals at all times whilst remaining compliant.
  • Undertake technical or any other relevant training as and when required.
  • Undertake and record relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to develop knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to efficiency improvement initiatives and sharing of best practice.

Any other AML related duties
