SRG are delighted to be working with an exciting organisation based in the North of Scotland (Dundee & Aberdeen) who are looking to expand their business development team.
The company operate in the analytical services industry, and in this position you will be working closely with a team of industry leading scientists, as well as the wider business development and marketing teams.
The Role
As business development manager you will work collaboratively with the wider business development team to nurture existing client accounts as well as finding new opportunities within the market.
This specific role faces into the natural products industry, this includes natural oils (vegetable, sunflower, etc.), natural foodstuffs, as well as the exciting market of medicinal cannabis.
The business development team operates on a global scale and will require a small element of international travel (once or twice in a quarter), as well as travel across the UK (3 or 4 times a quarter).
The Right Person
To be successful in this role you will have;
- Prior demonstrable experience in a sales/business development position
- A relevant degree (or equivalent) - Chemistry, Biochemistry, Forensic, or similar
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Good theoretical knowledge of GMP & GCP
- Prior experience working in emerging markets is preferable
This role is hybrid, as such the successful candidate must be able to be on-site in Dundee or Aberdeen at least twice a week.
