Amazon Account Director/Team Lead

Location: Knightsbridge, London (Hybrid: 1 day per week on-site)

Salary: £50k-£60k

With their proprietary marketing platform and recent acquisition of 2 digital agencies, they’re expanding rapidly in the digital/e-commerce space and are looking for an Amazon Account director/Account Lead to head up their Amazon function.


We are considering 2 candidate profiles for this hire, a seasoned Amazon Account Lead/Account Director with a track record in campaign management and experience leading a team or a Principal Amazon Account Manager acting right hand to a Account Director with experience mentoring and manage escalations from junior and mid level account Managers (progression to team lead offered). What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in senior Amazon account management with a track record of team leadership.
  • Strong client relationship-building skills and a knack for long-term trust.
  • Extensive knowledge of Amazon Seller and Vendor Central, compliance, EU VAT, and flat file uploads.
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and insights.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-sufficient and resourceful with a passion for quality and precision.


What You’ll Do:

  • Leadership & Team Development: Act as the main escalation point for account managers and clients, solving complex issues with confidence.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage deep Amazon knowledge—marketplace expansion, vendor negotiations, promotional scheduling, flat file uploads, and retail readiness.
  • Client Relationships: Build trust with clients, serving as their go-to advisor for challenges and strategic guidance.
  • Process Improvement: Streamline and document account management processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Training & Support: Develop and mentor account managers and admin teams, building their skills for peak performance.
  • Strategic Account Ownership: Own a portfolio of accounts across Implementation and Growth, from planning to execution, with data-driven insights.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth for blue-chip and new brands, positioning Market Rocket as a key Amazon partner.
  • Quality & Compliance Standards: Ensure listings meet high standards, guiding clients through compliance and regulatory challenges.
  • Independent Problem Solving: Resolve issues proactively with resourcefulness and logical thinking.
  • Dedication & Commitment: Go the extra mile to ensure team and client success.
