Your New Role:
As our Community Engagement / Development Lead, you will play a vital role in shaping and enhancing our community in North End, Corby. Your primary responsibility will be to build strong relationships with residents, businesses, and local organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively engage with residents through various channels, including face-to-face interactions, social media, and community events.Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to understand community needs and concerns.Address resident enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.Organise and host a variety of community events, such as summer BBQs, walking clubs, and community fairs.Promote events through effective marketing strategies, including social media and local advertising.Collaborate with local partners to implement initiatives that improve the quality of life for residents.Provide regular reports to management on community engagement activities and key findings.Produce regular communications and updates for residents, including newsletters and social media content.Utilise social media and other digital platforms to engage with the community and share updates.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community programs.Gather and analyse resident feedback to inform future planning and decision-making.Collaborate with local authorities, businesses, and community groups to strengthen partnerships and secure resources.Advocate for the needs of the community and work towards positive change. What you'll need to succeed:
Proven experience in community engagement or a similar field.Knowledge of the local area / surrounding areasMarketing ExperienceStrong interpersonal and communication skills.The ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse groups.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software.A passion for creating vibrant and inclusive communitiesA driving Licence is required for this role.
