THE MISSION:

In the integral role of Principal / Senior Principal; you will act as a critical internal Senior Stakeholder - contributing to the success of the business, executing the firm's strategic vision, and driving revenue.


FOCUS:


  • Global Pricing & Market Access Strategy
  • Commercial; Product, Portfolio / Value Strategy.
  • Business Development Assessment, Due Diligence & Forecasting.
  • Commercial, Pricing & Market Access Evidence Assessment.
  • Indication Expansion, Launch Sequence Strategy & Launch Excellence.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Project Delivery / Execution: (50%)

  • Responsible owner of client engagements; leads and executes projects with oversight of quality excellence and project initiatives, setting project direction with resource allocation - driving profitability.
  • Management of existing key accounts in collaboration with Partners – overall target for delivery management > $1.5-3Mil.
  • Acts as a 'strategic advisor', to effectively identify, mitigate and resolve complex issues within projects and internal business functions; with the development of internal 'best practices' / methods.
  • Nurture and encourage staff to consider out-of-the-box solutions to address client issues.


Business Development: (50%)

  • Contributes to, and actively drives Business Development in collaboration with Partners; identify, pursue, and lead the development of new business opportunities on existing clients’ accounts; including the acquisition of new clients, and the expansion of services with existing clients.
  • Drive performance targets for key client accounts; working with internal teams to achieve revenue growth, and profitability targets.
  • Demonstrate an independent success in selling—and leading the delivery of—strategy consulting engagements ($1.5 - 2.5Mil); with extensive network.


Client Engagement / Thought Leadership:

  • Own, develop and cultivate relationships with C-level stakeholders and Client Executives.
  • Develop and implement insightful, value-based strategy to mitigate client challenges.
  • Leads discussions, acting as subject matter expert and scientific thought partner to clients and internal / external stakeholders, by creating eminence and spearheading industry-specific initiatives and trends (i.e., Payers, KOL’s, C-Suite industry SMEs).



REQUIREMENTS


Academic Qualifications:

  • Masters, MD / PhD in Life Sciences related subject, or a MBA.


Experience:

  • 8-10 years' professional experience from MBB or a tier-1/2 Strategy Consulting Firm - with a dedicated focus in Healthcare and Life Sciences.
  • In-depth and extensive experience developing insightful, value-added strategies that address complex client issues, with a specialised focus in; Commercial, Product, and/or Global Market Access Strategy.
  • Demonstrate an independent success in selling—and leading the delivery of—strategy consulting engagements (£1.5 - 2.5Mil); with extensive network.


Inter-Personal Characteristics:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level and Senior Stakeholders / Executives.
  • Demonstrated success in People Management; coach, develop and mentor - responsible for career and professional development; ensuring continued acquisition of talent; cultivating a positive culture.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical-level thinking; (i.e., Intuition, Emotional Intelligence (EQ), and Ideation prowess).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; (Microsoft Word, PPT, and Outlook).
