This role will be crucial to help drive the next phase of growth, and will be deeply involved in all facets of the business.


About the Role:

As Performance Marketing Executive, you will actively own and optimise paid campaigns across a number of channels (PPC, Paid Social, Affiliates etc). You will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, increasing brand awareness, and delivering key business results at pace. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset who also is motivated by the creative and fast-paced nature of marketing within the beauty sector. This role will report directly to the Senior Performance Marketing Manager, working directly with both our agency, Chief Growth Officer and other in house teams so will have significant exposure to operations inside and outside of the team. This role will suit someone with a strong working knowledge of a single marketing channel but with a desire to become a more rounded performance marketer through exposure to new channels, ideas and techniques.


Responsibilities:


Paid Social Campaign Management:

  • Support our agency partners and the senior manager with ad strategy and builds
  • Create, test, and refine audience segments, ad copy, and creative to ensure optimal engagement and performance.
  • Build engaging reports to help drive visibility of performance in the wider organisation
  • Work closely with our in-house creative teams to build out new creative concepts and optimise towards metrics like hook rate, engagement rate view rates etc.
  • Directly manage and drive results on platforms like Snap and Pinterest


Paid Search:

  • Undertake research of competitor activities and present findings back to the wider team.
  • Assist in keyword research, particularly in new markets and product categories for the business.
  • Develop and work on new copy optimisations for BAU activity and seasonal optimisations in search, shopping and pmax campaigns.
  • Assist the CGO with marketing operations on Amazon search.


Business-Focused Performance Metrics:

  • Provide end-to-end reporting around performance metrics relating back to primary business goals like LTV, CAC and Payback Periods.
  • Deep dive into performance data from multiple channels to find and provide insight to enhance performance.


Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Marketing, Ecommerce, and Operations teams to ensure our paid activities support broader business goals and brand objectives.
  • Work closely with the Growth and finance teams to ensure that paid performance campaigns are aligned with broader financial goals, such as maintaining healthy LTV ratios.


Strategic Growth & Innovation:

  • Stay up to date with industry trends in social media, especially within beauty, and implement new strategies to remain competitive.
  • Explore new platforms and features that can help scale the business and drive performance in a competitive ecosystem.
  • Play a key role in the broader digital marketing strategy, ensuring social is integrated with other channels like search, email, and influencer marketing.


Qualifications:


Experience:

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience managing paid activity across at least one platform.
  • Demonstrable drive to learn and improve via researching and trial and error.
  • Some experience of using AI in your day to day to enhance your ability to deliver innovative strategies is a strong plus.


Business Acumen:

  • Strong understanding and drive to learn key financial metrics such as Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and how these influence the profitability of paid social campaigns.
  • Ability to align paid media strategy with overall business performance, ensuring sustainable growth and efficient customer acquisition.


Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, GA4, or BigQuery for campaign performance tracking.
  • Advanced Excel skills for campaign analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Any other database or visualisation skills are a strong plus.


Creative & Analytical Mindset:

  • Strong understanding of the creative elements that drive social media engagement in the beauty industry, especially with short-form video content.
  • A keen eye for detail in spotting errors in both creative and copy and not being afraid to suggest improvements to existing assets.


Industry Knowledge:

  • Passion for the beauty industry, with an understanding of consumer behaviour and social media trends within the beauty sector.


Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
  • A creative, proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for innovation in social media marketing.
