About the Company Founded in 1982, Lighthouse Worldwide Solutions is the world’s leading supplier of real time contamination monitoring systems and airborne particle counters. Lighthouse offers the most complete line of contamination monitoring solutions available that include Airborne Particle Counters, Microbial Samplers, and Liquid Particle Counters, as well as Temperature / Humidity sensors. Recently added production of air purification products, manufacturing of personal protective equipment. These solutions are now found in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data storage, biotechnology, aerospace, and defense industry plants worldwide.

Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the successful Sales performance of their assigned region and stable Sales growth in the defined region.


Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking “Safety First”.
  • Achieves regional sales objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
  • Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts within region.
  • Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.
  • Maintains and expands customer base by building rapport with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities.
  • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities.
  • Represents the interests of the Sales Department and ensures that the sales functions are supported throughout the company.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Get along with others.
  • Proven and quantifiable sales track record, both individually and leading a sales team.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Must currently live in and have the right to work in the specified territory of Republic of Ireland
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information while using intuition and experience to complement this data. Develops and coordinates Sales plans. Communicates changes and progress. Completes projects on time and within approved budget. Supports organization's goals and values. Analyzes market and competition in Sales Managers region.
  • Updated the Sales CRM daily and reports to the director of Sales on forecasted sales. Works out and executes a 6-month sales plan.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • High level of proficiency with personal computers. Intermediate computer skills for Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Internet usage.
  • Strong English grammar skills and ability to proofread and review documents for conceptual clarity. Meticulous attention to details. Experience working in a growing, international company dealing with Fortune 500 clientele.


Education and Experience

  • Experience selling technical products in the Life Science & Pharmaceutical industries.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. BSc or BEng); or a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
