The role:

Due to this period of growth, the need has arisen for a claims professional focussing on worldwide Casualty and Professional Lines business.

Main duties will involve the handling of a portfolio of claims and ensuring that outsourced partners adhere to set governance standards.

The candidate may also be expected to assist generally across the claims team and there is an opportunity to broaden the scope of classes of business, jurisdictions (including USA) and gain wider experience in claims. This role is a permanent position learning from some of the most knowledgeable claims professionals in the market.


Requirements:

The successful candidate will be ambitious and have a dynamic character and can-do attitude, ideally coupled with experience in handling claims in the Lloyds / London market. We also really welcome applications from candidates with experience at DCA/TPAs or regional insurers, looking for their first role in the London Insurance market.

  • A good level of education, probably Degree educated
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills
  • The ability to deliver results to agreed deadlines and look for pro-active solutions
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player
