THE COMPANY: My client is a large membership and regulator with health and wellbeing are at the centre of everything they do.
THE ROLE:
- Leading, inspiring, and developing the Registration Team, consisting of Deputy Registration Managers and Registration Officers.
- Manage the performance of two Deputy Registration Managers who supervise the daily fulfilment of over 18 workflows, and a team of Registration Officers. Responsible for planning training, development and improving quality of the team’s work. Making sure all staff are up to date and have current knowledge of processes and any changes in legislation.
- Identify, and implement, short to medium improvements, that save time, money and improves quality. Working flexibly, to handle multiple projects and tasks, while also contributing to long-term strategic improvements and IT projects.
- Key escalation point when further investigation is required for complaints and complex scenarios. You will undertake impact assessments and take action to ensure that procedures are put in place preventing issues/errors from reoccurring. Sharing any learning points with colleagues, updating SOP’s and guidance.
- Reporting on performance across the team, explaining any variances and, where appropriate, remedial actions taken and learning points documented. Ensuring quality assurance and exception reporting is fit for purpose and carried out according to procedures.
THE PERSON:
- Experience managing a team of 5 people or more.
- Someone who is highly organised and can manage a change of workload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
