The role:

As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing key client accounts, ensuring smooth execution of B2B marketing campaigns, primarily digital but with some offline elements.


Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, you will act as the main point of contact for your clients, driving their marketing strategies forward and ensuring deliverables align with their business objectives.


Key responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of B2B clients, understanding their goals and business needs.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Account Manager and cross-functional teams (content, design, digital and development) to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.
  • Lead and drive marketing strategies for clients, proactively identifying new opportunities.
  • Write client briefs and oversee projects from concept to delivery, ensuring all activities meet agreed objectives.
  • Maintain quality control across all outputs, ensuring work meets high standards and attention to detail.
  • Utilise Teamwork for project management, planning and tracking the delivery of marketing retainers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for allocated clients, regularly updating them on project progress and building strong, lasting relationships.
  • Assist the Senior Account Manager with onboarding new clients and supporting additional accounts as needed.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills, operating with a proactive and client-centric mindset.


Skills and competencies:

  • 4+ years of Account Management experience, ideally within a B2B marketing agency.
  • Experience in industries such as Manufacturing, Technology or Science is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively manage client relationships.
  • Proven experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, with a focus on digital strategies.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience using project management tools like Teamwork.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to problem-solving and project execution.


Experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a B2B agency setting (candidates from B2C agencies or B2B in-house roles will also be considered).
  • Ability to work across industries like Manufacturing, Technology, and Science is an advantage.
  • Experience working with cross-functional marketing teams, managing end-to-end campaign delivery.
