Director of Business Development – Channel Sales
Location: Field-based with up to 50-70% travel
About Us: Jubilant Radiopharma is a global leader in the radiopharmaceutical industry, dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovative solutions. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development (DBD) to join our team and drive our channel sales outside the US and Canada.
Position Overview: Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the DBD will manage all channel partner relationships globally, excluding the US and Canada. This role is pivotal in driving new market development, selecting and nurturing channel partners, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, or Healthcare-related industries and a passion for building and maintaining strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Development & Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with executive leadership, marketing, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, and other departments to identify and develop new market opportunities for the Jubilant Radiopharma portfolio.
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans designed to achieve revenue targets in designated territories and client segments.
Sales Execution & Performance:
- Execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales objectives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Support and expand existing channel partners and their accounts, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
- Identify, qualify, and close new channel partnerships, leveraging industry knowledge and negotiation skills.
Client & Partner Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
- Represent Jubilant Radiopharma at industry events and conferences, enhancing the company’s visibility and reputation within the market.
Reporting & Market Intelligence:
- Report monthly sales results and activities according to schedule, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Gather and share business and market intelligence from the field, ensuring the company remains informed about industry trends and competitive dynamics.
- Maintain accurate client files and records within the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
Pipeline & Opportunity Management:
- Prepare and maintain a detailed sales pipeline database for short, mid, and long-term opportunities, ensuring a steady flow of potential business.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 7-10 years of sales experience in Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, or Healthcare-related industries.
- Background in Nuclear Medicine Technology is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with channel partners.
- In-depth knowledge of medical distribution in target countries.
- Strong pharmaceutical or medical knowledge base.
- Solid understanding of institutional and business-to-business sales processes.
- Fluency in multiple languages is an asset.
- Deep knowledge of the healthcare market in Europe and other regions outside the US and Canada (e.g., Middle East).
