Chef Manager for a well established contract caterer to oversee an academy in Feltham - West London
Location: Secondary School, Feltham
Shift: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
Salary: £27000k per annum (including up to 10 weeks holiday per year)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at an academy in Feltham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented chef with a passion for preparing fresh, high-quality meals for large volumes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Ensure all meals are prepared from scratch using fresh ingredients, maintaining high culinary standards.
- Team Management: Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing training and support to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Health and Safety: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and adhere to health and safety regulations, including food hygiene and allergen awareness.
- Stock Management: Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to operate within budget.
- Customer Service: Interact with students and staff to receive feedback and continuously improve the food service.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a chef, ideally in a high-volume catering environment. Previous experience in a school setting is an advantage.
- Culinary Skills: Strong culinary skills with a focus on fresh food preparation.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Health and Safety: Knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety, and allergen management.
- Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with students and staff.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt menus and services to meet the evolving needs of the school.
