Global luxury fashion brand are looking for an immediately available Events Manager to join them on a Mat cover from August-October (potential to extend until end of the year)


You will lead all events in store, helping to bring marketing campaigns and launches to life - including launch events, performances, talks, workshops, retail theatre (such as personalisation), and fashion presentations. Leading relationships with third-party organisations where relevant, to collaborate on the execution of events.


Start date: ASAP

Duration: August-October-potential to extend until end of the year

Location: Central London

Hours: 9am-5:30am, 3 office/2 home


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all events in Store, helping to bring Marketing campaigns and launches to life - including launch events, performances, talks, workshops, retail theatre (such as personalisation), and fashion presentations. Leading relationships with third-party organisations where relevant, to collaborate on the execution of events.
  • Manage and update events and activations calendar and rota
  • Establishing a critical path for events based on key objectives, planning in a communication strategy in line with the Email/Social/Retail/Content/Digital Marketing/Online Trade teams.
  • Brief internal creative teams (Visual Concepts, Graphics, Photography) on event needs, concepts, and vision.
  • Organised key event paperwork including Health and Safety, Risk Assessments, Supplier PO's, and invoicing details
  • Act as key point-of-contact for external events suppliers for deliveries and set up
  • Organise and lead floor walks ahead of events with representatives throughout the business, ensuring all teams are thoroughly briefed and issues are flagged before they arise where possible.
  • Creation of call sheets and event bibles for larger-scale events
  • Collaborating with PR team on facilitating in-store PR and influencer events
  • Manage supplier negotiations, and communication with the external event ticket service provider.
  • Liaise with third parties on in-store filming and photography requests, ensuring all necessary permits and forms are completed and supporting on the day.
  • Sharing post-event analysis with internal stakeholders, measuring success against benchmark targets and return on investment. Learnings to be constantly considered to develop and improve events strategy.
  • Support with presentation building, launch support plans, collating campaign objectives and results, competitor and industry research, and ad-hoc support where required to support the wider team.
  • Support the Marketing Manager in implementing partnerships with third-party organisations.
  • Supporting the wider team with raising invoices and assisting with budget management, reviewing regularly with the Marketing Manager


To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Event knowledge and experience within the retail marketplace is preferred.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and organisational skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships and lead communications with external parties including Brands, Agencies, and Suppliers
  • Passionate about running events and delivering an incredible in-store experience for the luxury retail customer.
