OVERVIEW

Title: Director of Sales – Europe Department: (must be located in the EU). Reports To: Global VP of Sales

Travel: 50%-75%

ROLE

The Director of Sales – Europe, will increase revenue by ensuring business growth within the European market, through wholesale distribution & retail partnerships. You will help to create & implement strategic business building plans relative to the market, while building new & enhancing current customer relationships. This role is remote, candidate may live anywhere in Europe

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and achieve sales goals & objectives, set by the company
  • Meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, & annual sales goals.
  • Work closely with distributor principles, sales management, & store management, holding them accountable to sell through targets
  • Build strategic sales programs which drive greater category adoption.
  • Build distributor relationship to ensure long-term stability & profitable growth
  • Work closely with Global VP & Marketing team to ensure key marketing initiatives are implemented.
  • Work closely with the Global VP & company Leadership to build an annual sales & promotional forecast.
  • Attain & develop new business through prospecting & targeting key partners in each country.
  • Manage key client relationships • Service existing accounts with merchandising, marketing, and event support to ensure long term sales success.
  • Conduct market research, to identify market & industry leaders, the competitive landscape, & market share opportunities.
  • Create & implement agendas for distributor meetings & applicable sales meetings.
  • Implement strategic store merchandising programs.
  • Attend & participate in all approved tradeshows & sales events.
  • Manage & maintain T&E within budgetary parameters.
  • Manage & maintain travel calendar & maintain a productive work schedule.
  • Manage & maintain applicable reports, as requested by management

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

  • Strong organizational, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven sales management record, with at least 5 years wholesale/key account experience, preferably in the professional beauty industry.
  • Proven business plan strategy development, for individual markets & customers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation & organizational skills.
  • Familiar with a variety of industry distributor concepts, practices, & procedures.
  • Ability to travel across Europe monthly, potentially multiple trips per month.
  • Ability to manage multiple customers & projects.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed. o Self-motivated, shows initiative, driven to succeed, & able to meet deadlines.
