Powered by Oak View Group (OVG), Rhubarb Hospitality Collection are proud to deliver an array of incredible food and drink at Co-op Live, the UK's newest and biggest indoor arena. Following a successful opening season, we are on the hunt for a new Culinary Director to join our executive team and lead on all things food and drink.
In addition to Co-op Live, the Culinary Director will play a central role in the growth of our Manchester business, as we expand our F&B offer beyond the walls of Co-op Live and into the community. We have one large activation coming in mid-2025; with another to follow thereafter.
The Culinary Director will lead the existing Co-op Live culinary team, headed up by our brilliant Executive Head Chef and wider team of 100... ensuring they have the tools, systems and inspiration to deliver the very best food and drink for up to 24,000 fans per event - whether fast-casual, bar snacks, premium box hospitality or an event - we strive for everything we turn out to be cool quirky, innovative and great value, contributing to the overall fan experience.
As we expand into new markets, the Culinary Director will need to build further winning teams and bring to life concepts that transcend the arena piece; think street food, pop up bars, immersive experiences - at scale.
The Culinary Director will need to be an out-and -out food lover, with the highest of standards, they may have cut their teeth in the premium restaurant or hotel word, in the UK or internationally, but will need to have proven expertise in the arena / stadia / live entertainment / volume world.
They will need to manage an ever evolving and expanding team, one day at the coal face for an event, the next presenting on a new concept to stakeholders. It also goes without saying they will need to have exceptional commercial skills, have a head for emergent technology and the role this will play in the future of our food offering, and be an excellent communicator at all levels.
