A leading US Law Firm is looking to recruit a Business Development Specialist to support the firms EMEA M&A and Private Equity practice groups. Reporting to the EMEA Business Development Managers, this role involves preparing pitches, managing marketing materials, conducting research, and compiling legal directory submissions. You will identify new business opportunities, support cross-selling initiatives, and contribute to pan-European business development projects. Additionally, you will organise events and support the implementation of practice group plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare credentials and pitches tailored for clients
- Manage and update key marketing materials
- Conduct market, competitor, and client research
- Compile legal directory and award submissions
- Facilitate partner communications and meetings
- Support marketing campaigns and digital marketing efforts
- Organise client meetings, conferences, and events
- Utilise CRM software to track client interactions and manage pipelines
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years’ business development experience in an international law firm or professional services environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships at all levels
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
