Blindspace is a leader in innovative solutions for concealing blinds and recessing curtain tracks. Founded in 2016 and based in Sweden, we have rapidly grown our global presence. While we have a strong foundation in residential projects, we are increasingly winning large commercial and hospitality projects across Europe and the UK. Our goal is to expand further in this area, and we are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive this growth.


ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to focus on commercial projects, primarily in the UK and Europe. The ideal candidate will proactively find new commercial project opportunities, engage in frequent conversations with commercial shading companies, provide quotes, and offer the support needed to secure orders for our standard and custom blind concealment solutions. The role requires ongoing communication with clients throughout the sales process, ensuring that Blindspace remains top of mind. This role requires close collaboration with our management team in Sweden and reports directly to the Managing Director.


JOB LOCATION

UK Based possibly with London Office 3 days a week.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Commercial Project Focus: Identify, pursue, and secure new commercial project opportunities with shading specialists and blind companies across Europe and the UK.
  • Frequent Client Engagement: Maintain regular communication with shading companies to nurture relationships, provide updates, and keep them engaged.
  • Sales & Support: Provide quotes, support, and expert advice to help clients choose the right Blindspace solutions for their projects.
  • Market Development: Expand our market presence by identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth within the commercial sector.
  • Client Engagement: Work closely with clients, shading specialists, and contractors to ensure project success. Site visits and in-person meetings are a plus.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with the Blindspace management team in Sweden to align strategies, share insights, and refine offerings based on market needs.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the shading industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of commercial projects and the ability to navigate sales processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of building lasting client relationships.
  • Familiarity with the UK and European markets, particularly within the commercial shading or construction industries.
