We're seeking a dynamic and experience Brand and Communications Manager on a 1 year fixed term contract to oversee Ligentia's internal and external communications strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate communications, social media management, content creation, and brand storytelling, with a collaborative approach to engaging stakeholders across the organisation.
Strategy & Growth
- LinkedIn Strategy and Execution: Lead the development and execution of Ligentia’s LinkedIn content strategy to enhance brand awareness, employee engagement, and community building.
- Content Strategy and Development: Write, edit, and publish articles, announcements, and internal news stories on LINKS to keep employees informed and connected.
- Content Calendar and Strategy: Maintain a cohesive communications calendar that encompasses both social media and internal communications, aligned with corporate goals and key initiatives.
- Internal & external comms strategy, calendar management and reporting
Team & People
- Employee Advocacy: Develop initiatives to encourage employee advocacy on LinkedIn, empowering employees to share company content, industry insights, and their own perspectives in line with Ligentia’s brand values.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with key stakeholders across departments to support their internal communication needs and drive employee engagement initiatives.
- Stakeholder Personal Branding: Guide key leaders within Ligentia in developing and managing their LinkedIn profiles, offering strategic insights on how best to represent the company, highlight achievements, and share thought leadership.
- Executive Communications Support: Collaborate with executives to create compelling posts, build their personal brand, and enhance their digital presence on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
Process
- Content Creation and Curation: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, develop, and schedule engaging content, including thought leadership, industry insights, company news, and events.
- Platform Management: Oversee the LinkedIn company page, ensuring the brand voice, messaging, and visuals align with Ligentia’s brand standards.
- LINKS Intranet Management: Curate and create content for the company intranet (LINKS), ensuring it serves as a centralised hub for company updates, employee engagement, and knowledge sharing.
- Intranet Platform Administration: Oversee the technical and content management of the intranet platform, including user experience improvements, content organisation and platform updates to enhance usability and engagement.
- Press Releases and Media Content: Develop and distribute news articles, press releases, and other media content that reflects company milestones, industry achievements, and brand narrative.
- Corporate Communications Projects: supporting on brand and corporate content projects such as annual ESG reports
- Consistency and Quality Assurance: Ensure all internal and external communications adhere to Ligentia’s brand standards, voice, and messaging guidelines.
- Graphic Design and Visual Content: Use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create visually engaging graphics and materials for social media, internal communications, and other communications, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Anticipate holding at least 5 years experience in corporate communications and social media management, ideally within a B2B or logistics environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- Experience in working within the matrix/global structures, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously, such as timelines for social, internal, and other corporate content.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn platform management and content creation; experience managing company LinkedIn pages, supporting executives in building personal brands, and promoting employee advocacy.
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create branded graphics and visual content.
- Experience using WordPress to manage and update website content.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, engaging, and brand-aligned content for diverse audiences in various formats, including PPT.
- Familiarity with intranet platforms and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
