A key client of X4 Communications- an innovative company specialising in resuscitation and therapy products, are looking for a talented Marketing Manager to join their UK team. Their dynamic and evolving leadership team is focused on a strategic shift towards a smaller, more agile structure. As they expand their market presence, particularly in the UK (now a team of 55), they are hoping this professional will join their team and drive their marketing initiatives to the next level.


Role Overview:

The team are seeking an energetic and positive Marketing Manager to join their UK team based in Orpington. This pivotal role will be instrumental in bridging the synergy between sales and marketing, and will eventually or immediately sit at the management table. With a top priority on competency and emotional intelligence, they are looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas and build strong relationships within the team and with their customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for their UK market, focusing on two key product lines: resuscitation and therapies.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, sales processes, and value propositions, ensuring a seamless synergy between sales and marketing.
  • Spend the first few months shadowing the sales team to gain deep insights into customer profiles and product value propositions.
  • Formulate and execute digital marketing and SEO strategies to enhance their online presence and drive lead generation.
  • Manage and oversee marketing campaigns, including digital platform RQI and distribution channels for therapy products.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, particularly the sales leader who has been with the company for 8 years.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform marketing strategies and plans.
  • Develop and present a solid marketing plan by early next year, aligning with overall business goals and objectives.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in digital marketing and SEO.
  • Ideally, a background in sales or strong understanding of sales processes and customer engagement.
  • High competency in marketing strategy development and execution.
  • Strong emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Energetic and positive mindset, with a passion for developing and nurturing relationships.
  • Ability to spend 2 days per week in Orpington (Tuesdays & Wednesdays)
  • Willingness to travel and spend time in the field with the sales team during the first three months.
