Their offices are based in Berkshire area and they work to a hybrid model, 3 days in the office / 2 days remote. This is a fixed term contract for a minimum of 4 months likely to extend.


The Role

The Content & PR Executive will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of marketing, including PR, Social Media, Email, Digital Marketing, Print and Ecommerce. You will be an expert in creating, briefing, editing, and optimising content. With your keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of what great content looks like, you will be able to work seamlessly across a diverse range of platforms and content subject.


Core Accountabilities:

Content

  • Develop and execute content strategy that aligns with the overall marketing plan and drives brand awareness and engagement across various digital platforms including, email, social media (organic and paid), website and print.
  • Create, source and collate high-quality and engaging content that plays out across various channels and platforms, with a high level of accuracy and in accordance with the brands style and tone of voice. Edit and proofread all content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all channels. Content will cover a range of topics, including campaigns, new launches, promotional events, commercial opportunities and local marketing.
  • Optimise content (SEO) for search engines to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to the website.
  • Create and manage the content calendar to ensure a consistent and timely flow of content that supports marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content meets business needs and goals.
  • With the support of the Content and PR coordinator, research and analyze market trends to ensure content remains relevant and engaging


PR

  • Develop and execute PR strategies, focusing on campaigns that will engage trade and retail customers, build brand awareness, and position the brand as the market leader.
  • Proactively contribute to creative campaigns– working with our PR agency to promote original and effective ideas.
  • Draft press releases that have had successful pick up within target media, and managed the process of pitching exclusive stories to key press.
  • Work collaboratively with our PR agency to ensure all events are set up for success, with the relevant marketing support.
  • Support the Content & PR Manager with all PR processes, including media coverage tracking, event management, marketing seeding activities and asset management.


Brands

  • Working closely and building relationships with brands to deliver a range of communication assets on time
  • Enhancing our own brand's identity and application across all touchpoints.
  • Manage brand deployment and ensure that all channels fulfil contracts.


Budget & Team Support

  • POs and check invoices management.
  • Being responsible for contributing to meetings on behalf of the team and feeding back project status.
  • Support the Content & PR Manager Manager


Experience

  • 2 to 3 years experience in a marketing related role.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative and critical thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Passionate about the Hair and Beauty industry.
  • Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Demonstrate our core values as a continual team player who can drive idea and is eager to learn.
  • Public Relations experience is a plus.
