Position Overview:

Gloo have been exclusively retained following a management buy out to secure our client a new CEO. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to take globally recognised Software Company into their next phase of growth.


The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, global operations, and overall growth of the organisation. As the key figurehead, the CEO will ensure the company's market leadership, driving innovation and operational excellence while strengthening the company's presence in existing and emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the company's strategic vision, focusing on innovation, technology leadership, and market growth.
  • Business Growth: Identify and expand new revenue streams, partnerships, and market opportunities on a global scale, ensuring sustainable growth.
  • Innovation & R&D Oversight: Foster a culture of innovation, ensuring the company continues to push the boundaries of technology development and product leadership.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with the Board, investors, partners, and customers, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and long-term goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the company’s global operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and the highest standards of performance.
  • Financial Stewardship: Lead the company’s financial health, including budgeting, financial planning, and investment decisions, with a focus on profitability and growth.
  • Talent Development: Lead a high-performing executive team and nurture a company culture that attracts and retains top talent across all levels of the business.
  • Market Positioning: Strengthen the company’s brand presence and market positioning as a global technology leader through strategic marketing and partnerships.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a CEO or senior executive in a high-growth technology company with an international footprint.
  • Visionary Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead innovation-driven companies through complex market landscapes.
  • Global Mindset: Experience managing global operations and navigating international markets and regulatory environments.
  • Growth-Oriented: Strong track record of scaling businesses, expanding into new markets, and driving revenue growth.
  • Stakeholder Management: Skilled at managing complex stakeholder relationships, including boards, investors, and high-profile clients.
  • Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial management, capital allocation, and M&A strategies.
  • Technology Savvy: Strong understanding of the technology landscape and ability to stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field. MBA or other advanced degrees preferred.
  • 12+ years of senior leadership experience in the tech sector, with a focus on high-growth, innovation-driven technology companies.
  • Proven success in leading global teams and operations, with a demonstrated track record of delivering growth and innovation.
