The Client:
The client is a boutique insurance broker specializing in providing comprehensive insurance solutions for property, real estate, and high net worth individuals. Their commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction has established them as a trusted partner for clients seeking tailored insurance policies.
Position Overview:
The Client Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing their client relationships. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the insurance industry, ideally within property, real estate, or the high net worth insurance verticals. The Client Manager will be responsible for managing client accounts and supporting the Client Executives.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Understand clients' unique insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
Account Management:
- Oversee a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring policies are up-to-date and accurately reflect clients' requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to identify potential gaps or opportunities for additional coverage.
- Collaborate with underwriters to secure favourable terms and conditions for clients.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional insurance products.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss insurance options and provide expert advice.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement strategies for acquiring new clients.
Policy Administration:
- Assist clients with policy renewals, amendments, and cancellations.
- Ensure all documentation and client information is accurately recorded and maintained.
- Monitor claims processes and advocate on behalf of clients to ensure timely resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically in property, real estate, or high net worth insurance.
- Understanding of insurance products, policies, and regulations.
- Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management software (preferably Acturis)
