Position: Customer Support Specialist


Job Overview:


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in the insurance sector. In this role, you will be the frontline for our clients, providing exceptional service and support for their insurance needs. You will assist customers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding them through the complexities of their insurance policies and claims.


**Key Responsibilities:**


- **Customer Interaction:** Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.

- **Policy Management:** Assist clients with understanding, modifying, and renewing their insurance policies.

- **Claims Assistance:** Guide customers through the claims process, from initial reporting to resolution, ensuring they are informed and supported.

- **Issue Resolution:** Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues, escalating to higher levels as necessary.

- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of customer interactions and transactions.

- **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments such as underwriting, claims, and sales to ensure cohesive service delivery.

- **Product Knowledge:** Stay up-to-date with the company’s insurance products, services, and industry regulations to provide accurate information to clients.

- **Feedback Management:** Collect and relay customer feedback to help improve our services and products.


**Qualifications:**

- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

- **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in customer service, preferably within the insurance industry.

- **Knowledge:** Understanding of insurance principles, policies, and regulatory requirements.

- **Skills:**

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Proficient in using customer service software and CRM systems.

- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy.

- **Attributes:**
