Our client is a highly successful and expanding Investment Management firm, widely recognised with an excellent reputation based in London.
The Role
The Data Operations Manager will fully understand the Investment Operations Securities data the Investment Management firm uses during its daily Investment Operations business activities.
Ensure the Investment Operations and Securities data is accurate and sufficient controls are implemented to maintain the data integrity.
Working closely with the Senior Data Operations Manager, taking on additional responsibilities where required and supervise the team.
The Data Operations Manager will have responsibility for the quality of advice and administrative service provided to the business by their Data team.
The Data Operations Manager will mentor and support the Data Investment Operations team by providing guidance, instructions and direction.
Oversight of core Investment and Securities Data processes and look to improve these processes.
Responsible for assuring the quality of all Securities data feeds into the core trading and settlement systems from an Investment operations perspective.
Implement and perform data quality check processes to mitigate risk and be responsible for the update and maintenance of investment operational control reference data.
The Data Operations Manager will build strong working relationships with the Investment Management Front Office, Data team and other teams within the Custody Services department
The Candidate
3-5 years’ experience of working within Investment Operations / Middle Office within Wealth Management or Investment Management.
Previous leadership, management or team supervisory experience - essential.
Strong knowledge of Security Data and Pricing Data within an Investment Management / Asset Management or Stockbroking firm - essential
Knowledge of trading and settlements systems.
Good working knowledge of Bloomberg and ICE - desirable
Experience of Data warehousing - desirable
Highly organised and a Team Player.
