Commercial Strategy Pricing Analyst
The purpose of the Commercial Strategy Team is:
- to partner with the Sales Team (CSG and SLDT Deal Director) to define the commercial strategy for the large deal with a single-minded focus to win profitable deals for Infosys
- once the Commercial Strategy is defined to take the lead in executing the pricing for the deal in line with agreed commercial strategy
- to build rapport and effective working relationship with client commercial counterpart and lead pricing and business case related discussions
Key Responsibilities:
Client facing
- Partner with CSG and/or Deal Director to put together a compelling financial proposition including:
- Price to Win, and competitive analysis. Leverage pricing benchmarking tools available within Infosys to ensure our price is market competitive.
- Develop the business case for the opportunity, considering client’s baseline. Agree the foundations of the business case with client commercial lead so that there is complete alignment when they receive our offer
- Develop the financial solution and innovative commercial models for a deal ensuring it is market competitive
- Provide key pricing inputs and commercial story line for the Executive Summary and any formal commercial document
- Support the negotiation process relating to the financials aspects
Internal
- Project manage the pricing work stream, working closely and in alignment with DAG, VLDN and HR OCM
- Support and work together with the strategic negotiator to ensure there is complete alignment between pricing and commercial contract
- Support the sales team in implementing and running processes required to execute pricing and business case development
- Continuously develop understanding of the IT Outsourcing landscape – Markets, Products & Services, and leverage this understanding when constructing deal pricing and commercials
