We're a tight-knit team of 20, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with e-commerce and Shopify. As an Experienced Agency Operations Manager, you’ll play a critical role in handling operations as we scale to new heights as a business.


The Agency Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth, scalable operation of a Shopify-focused agency. This position is responsible for optimizing processes, managing internal systems, and overseeing cross-departmental coordination to drive operational excellence and efficiency. This role will closely monitor key performance metrics, support client satisfaction initiatives, and contribute to strategic growth planning alongside the executive team.


This is our first dedicated Agency Operations Hire - so there is a huge progression available for the right candidate.


Operational Efficiency & Process Optimization:


  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks across the agency’s operational workflows, including project management, client onboarding, and delivery processes.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for critical tasks to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Maintain and optimize operational dashboards for key metrics such as project utilization, delivery times, and profitability.
  • Regularly review and update processes for efficiency improvements, ensuring all teams adhere to best practices.


Responsibilities:


  • Project Management: Oversee project delivery timelines, ensuring cross-departmental coordination and adherence to deadlines.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with the leadership team and department heads to streamline communication, align objectives, and support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Process Development & Optimization: Create, refine, and enforce SOPs across various functions to improve productivity and operational consistency.
  • Client Success Support: Collaborate with the client services team to optimize the onboarding process and ensure client expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Data & Metrics Analysis: Maintain real-time operational dashboards, tracking metrics such as project efficiency, team utilization, and profitability.
  • Strategic Growth Planning: Partner with the executive team to forecast operational needs and support scaling initiatives as the agency grows.


Requirements:


  • Experience: 2+ years in an operations role within a digital agency or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of project delivery, client management, and team coordination. E-com & Shopify knowledge is a huge plus
  • Project Management Proficiency: Comfortable using project management tools like ClickUp (our PM tool of choice)
  • Analytical Skills: Able to analyze complex data sets and turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • Leadership Qualities: Confident leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
