The Role
As a Cluster Assistant Financial Controller, you will be supporting the on-site Cluster Financial Controller with the achievement of the hotel's financial objectives. Assisting with the production of budgets and financial statements and ensuring an efficient, accurate financial and administrative hotel finance operation.
The core skills and experience required to succeed:
- A structured approach to business planning and management;
- Experience in challenging costs;
- Experience in a similar role with experience in supporting with the production of financial statements and budgets;
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HR information systems;
- Proven ability to diagnose problems with critical thinking skills, as well as drive appropriate solutions with initiative;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of spoken and written English;
- Strong organisational skills developed in a fast paced environment;
- Sound understanding of the legal framework in relation to finance operations;
- Previous experience in a hotel or related environment preferred but not essential;
- Results focused with an overwhelming desire to succeed.
You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
