Financial Controller - Supply Chain

This award-winning B2B company based in West London seeks a hands-on Financial Controller to take control of its finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accuracy and reliability of the Company's accounting systems, recording, filing, and reporting financial transactions, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
  • Ensure accuracy of the payroll system and ensure timely payments to employees, government agencies, pension scheme, etc.
  • Report to the Finance Director with timely and accurate financial information and assist in presenting reports to directors, senior managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Help design and set up a weekly KPI reporting pack.
Financial Controls:
  • Develop budgets and financial plans for the company supported by data.
  • Be closely involved in the specification, implementation, and management of new systems.
  • Check operational reports and data for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Manage cash flow by tracking debtors and creditors and regularly reviewing data.
  • Liaise with the bank or other agencies in foreign currency dealings under the direction of the Finance Director.
  • Produce reports to comply with government regulations and legal requirements.
Business Analysis:
  • Support operational departments by producing sales reports, cost-analysis reports, and other analysis and assist in controlling departmental budgets.
  • Supervise, develop, motivate, and manage finance team members.
