Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager

to join our team, focusing on the Midlands region of the UK. The ideal candidate

will have a proven track record in business development, sales, and strategic

planning. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities,

building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue

growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Midlands region.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and potential areas for growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share.


2. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.


  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and

ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients.

3. Sales and Revenue Growth:

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve revenue goals.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and

recommendations for improvement.

4. Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute strategic

plans.

  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling products and services.
  • Participate in the development of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

5. Networking and Representation:

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking

functions.

  • Build a strong professional network to support business growth.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a

related role.


  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the Midlands market and business landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within the Midlands region as required.
