Job title : Senior Marketing Manager


JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for an outstanding Senior Marketing Manager to join our growing team. Your responsibilities will span developing our existing marketing team, hands on creation and delivery of fully integrated marketing campaigns that deliver cutting edge creative and drive leads, customers and revenue.

The Senior Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the marketing strategy.

This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in marketing management, particularly in the retail or gift card industry.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


Marketing Operations:


  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to achieve business objectives and drive growth.


  • Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.


  • Oversee the creation and implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, and traditional advertising content and creative.


  • Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and challenges.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Development, and Customer Service, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing initiatives.


  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum ROI.


  • Track and report on key performance metrics, using data to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.


  • Foster relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to enhance marketing efforts.


  • Integrated Marketing campaign management across B2B, Consumer, and Brand, to include: diagnosis, strategy, tactics, creative direction, delivery and analysis across all channels



Lead, Revenue Generation and Customer Engagement:


  • Managing awareness, and driving traffic and lead generation through: Paid search, SEO, digital, print and OOH advertising
  • Manage and increase our unprompted brand awareness.
  • Cold and lapsed lead generation CRM - managing our CRM, reporting on success metrics, evolving the content and methodology to improve results
  • Tracking and reporting on lead conversion and planning campaign course correction if needed
  • Organising the purchase and use of new prospect data
  • Achieving monthly and annual lead & revenue targets and KPIs
  • Increasing social reach and engagement across all channels and all markets


People:

  • Management of a small team with flair and the utmost care - manage the workload of team members, contractors and agencies, set objectives, carry out reviews, be a coach and mentor


Data and Financials:

  • Analyse consumer and client behaviours and shape our customer personas
  • Inbound data management
  • Insight creation based on measurement
  • Overall data management and data cleansing processes
  • Delivering weekly and monthly reports on marketing effectiveness
  • Preparing and managing campaign budgets


Events and Exhibitions

  • Exhibition planning, execution, management and analysis
  • Managing event participation; targeted lead driving industry events, buying space at the right price, creating stands, creating event campaigns/collateral and providing pre, post and on the day support



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


You’ll be a great fit if you have:

5+ years as a Marketing Manager with demonstrable experience in integrated marketing campaign planning, presentation, and delivery

B2B, Brand and Consumer integrated marketing experience

Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills - you’re a wordsmith

Deep understanding of inbound and acquisition marketing strategy and campaigns

Outstanding creative brief writing skills

Experience in managing a small team, external vendors; freelancers, consultants and agencies

Understands the importance of google analytics, data and insights in marketing and is skilled in analysis and presenting information

Skilled on excel - eg vlookup


Preferred:

Marketing agency experience (Incentive/Reward and Recognition is preferred)

Proficient in website management

Adept at devising solutions to challenges and accurately presenting solution options

Experience with Zoho CRM software

Comprehensive knowledge of brand management
