Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the school, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Develop and manage the school’s budget, providing regular financial reports to the senior management team.
- Manage payroll, invoicing, and accounts receivable/payable.
- Collaborate with department heads to monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and analyses to support strategic planning.
- Liaise with external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate audits.
- Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) are highly desirable.
