Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Cheltenham. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and overseeing audit procedures, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and identifying and communicating accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing and overseeing audit procedures for various client accounts.
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy.
- Identifying and communicating accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners.
- Providing training and supervision to junior staff members.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Contributing to client satisfaction by providing timely and effective responses to client needs and concerns.
- Staying updated with current regulations and changes in the accounting and finance industry.
- Participating in business development initiatives.
Requirements
- Relevant academic qualifications in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- ACA/ACCA/AAT qualification or equivalent experience.
- Good working knowledge of CCH Audit Automation, CCH Accounts, Xero, SAGE 50, SAGE Business Cloud and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
