The Technology Workforce and Talent Excellence (TWTE) team is centre of excellence (COE) that tightly aligns with and supports strategic talent objectives of the Technology organisation. As the Technology organisation continues to evolve, so must our talent strategy. The Program Manager of Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) will be instrumental in how we look to transform our workforce to meet the delivery needs of our organisation powered by the best talent.

Our mission within the SWP team is to enable and support technology leaders in achieving their SWP goals and drive forward with clear 'rules of the road'. By making the boundaries clear and transparent, the Technology organization can progress with autonomy and purpose in their Talent strategy. The Senior Program Manager of SWP will support and enable our internal partners, including the Technology Leadership Team (TLT) and their leadership teams by:
  • Enabling systematic analyzing, forecasting, and planning for their workforce
  • Determining the supply and demand to meet their delivery needs
  • Supporting the identification of talent management interventions based on their needs - such as having the right people with the right skills in the right places
The Program Manager of SWP will own and manage relationships with a set of senior Technology leaders and their Chief of Staff and support resources including Technology Portfolio and Technology Finance. This will include managing the leaders' SWP and driving a regular cadence of meetings to review macro level trending around items such as contractor / colleague ratios, band level mix, location growth, and progress towards the Technology Inclusion & Diversity aspirations and Early Careers Program global placements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deepen the existing relationships between TWTE and the Technology Leadership Team through effective SWP management and providing a service that supports their organisational needs
  • Support the enablement of best-in-class self-service tools to enable modelling of the SWP and automated dashboard reporting for our partners
  • Partner with teams across Technology to manage a systematic end-to-end process to analyse, forecast, and plan the Technology workforce
  • Derive meaningful insights from internal data sources and external benchmarking
  • Identify solutions and drive talent recommendations based on senior leader needs
  • Collaborate effectively with partners such as Finance and our Colleague Experience Group, and build key relationships to identify and manage dependencies.
  • Manage outcomes by managing the details - sequencing and preparing for meetings and events thoughtfully to drive outcomes efficiently
Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Strategic Workforce Planning experience and/or experience with people strategy or talent management interventions is preferred
  • Strong analytics experience is essential - with the ability to draw conclusions and make inferences from the data
  • Experience working in either Technology or Consulting, or closely partnering with Technology is a plus
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills required, experience with senior stakeholder management
  • Highly organised with experience running large scale programs
  • Experience working with external third parties and building strong relationships
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to develop measurable goals to track success
  • Ability to utilise Industry trends and make meaningful recommendations
