Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to lead the maintenance and reliability agenda for the factory value streams. The position is crucial in creation of the reliability strategy and delivering the strategy through a team of days and shift.What are we looking for?
  • Proven line manager skills and capability, people-centric approach
  • Experience in problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis of technical issues.
  • Strong technical background
What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Line manage a team of shift based maintenance technicians and days based maintenance engineers
  • Responsible for team engagement in line with GLM
  • Develop and manage the maintenance strategy for the value stream
  • Identify and manage CI projects to increase line performance and capacity, and where possible justify (IRR) for site budgetary spend and/or CAB requests in line with operational and departmental priority settings.
  • Develop and manage the yearly maintenance and overhaul plan for all production lines, including contractor management.
  • Manage technical escalations/edps' from value stream and manage through the daily / weekly Reliability Review.
  • Develop, manage and review value stream PM's, calibrations and work orders.
  • Co-ordination of critical inputs to engineering activity, this will include but is not limited to: Quality and Food Safety, Health and Safety, Environment, technical buying, R&D, Manufacturing and reliability.
  • Responsible for driving own professional development and development of their team relevant competencies and functional technical skills.
  • Delivery of capital expenditure projects with Value stream
  • Guardian of key engineering/site processes such as change management, contractor management etc
  • Responsible for maintenance budget
  • MSE PM Pillar member for KLN.
