What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a committed and proactive individual with:
- Experience as an HLTA or equivalent, ideally within a primary school setting.
- A strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEN and strategies to support their learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, while also being able to lead and take initiative when required.
The Role:
As our new HLTA, you will play a pivotal role in the classroom, working closely with our teachers to enhance the educational experience for all students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Providing targeted support for SEN students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
- Leading small group interventions and delivering tailored learning activities.
- Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress to inform future planning.
