Sadler Recruitment is embarking on a search for a visionary Creative Director to lead a creative vision and catapult two leading sports brands to a new level. You will lead the overarching creative strategy across two brands and a diverse range of products.


You'll collaborate closely with the marketing, sales, platform and design teams to craft innovative campaigns that enhance their brands. The Creative Director will manage creative for two of the world's leading brands in an exciting and expanding televised sport. The Creative Director will be part of every visual touch point in a rapidly moving exciting environment.


Responsibilities


  • Spearhead the conceptual and strategic development of brands within the portfolio, pushing the boundaries of visual capability and delivering industry-leading brand image.
  • Shape the visual aesthetics, messaging, and tone-of-voice for campaigns, connecting with customers across the UK, EMEA, US, APAC.
  • Craft jaw-dropping packaging that makes products pop on shelves and screens alike.
  • Deliver game-changing concepts and storyboards that drive innovative video content with sports players, products and partners.
  • Animate the brand's image, with guidelines and strategies that deliver consistency in voice and vision across touchpoints.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with senior stakeholders, articulating creative visions with clear, thoughtful rationale.
  • Mentor our team of designers, to ensure high-quality work that meets expectations and deadlines.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in core markets, look at emerging markets and how they stay ahead.
  • Prioritize projects in liaison with their Traffic Manager to ensure a streamlined workflow


Required Skills & Experience


  • BSc/BA in advertising, fine art, design or relevant field; MSc/MA will be considered an asset.
  • Proven experience leading creative teams, with several years of experience at the Creative Director (or similar) level.
  • Experience across multiple portfolios and agency environments.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and relevant design software would be a distinct advantage
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to sell a concept or an idea or a vision to senior stakeholders
  • Expertise in stakeholder management.
  • Extensive experience in brand building and reappraisal, specifically within FMCG

  • Strong ability to develop unique, brand-aligned concepts that resonate with target audiences.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor teams, driving them towards achieving shared goals
  • Meticulous in maintaining brand consistency and delivering the highest quality work
  • Excellent presentation skills. Ability to craft compelling narratives and guide audiences through work to drive successful outcomes and facilitate rich debate and discussions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple clients and priorities simultaneously
  • Quick to process information, make informed decisions, and communicate them effectively to gain stakeholder buy-in.
