As a fast-growing company we are looking for a forward-thinking and creative marketing and communications professional to help support the team with building YOTEL brand awareness and improving our regional marketing activity.

About the role

The Marketing Communication Executive is a new and pivotal role in the Brand team. You'll be responsible for supporting the marketing, PR and partnerships plans for all managed hotels and associated restaurants in the portfolio across Europe, Middle East, Asia and USA. At an exciting time of growth for the company, you'll work alongside the brand and sales teams to define and deliver marketing tactics that increase brand awareness. You'll be responsible for supporting the success of our owned and earned channels supporting hotels, food & beverage, meetings & events and new openings.

You will sit within the commercial function and work closely with different departments as well as external partners including social media and public relations agencies.

You are a team player who lives the YOTEL brand values of being Authentic, Creative and Smart in all you do.

Key Responsibilities (to name a few)

  • Support the regional marketing and brand team to improve the relevancy and reputation of hotels and managed restaurants
  • Own hotel marketing calendar and identify cross-marketing opportunities across hotels.
  • Develop proactive ideas for hotel promotion across PR, brand partnerships, events and social media
  • Support hotel shoots to capture content for social media, PR campaigns and brand channels.
  • Manage hotel collateral requests with Graphic Design team
  • Manage reactive press and influencer stay requests
  • Proactive communication with local hotel teams to update on projects
  • Works in partnership with Brand Team to support overall YOTEL marketing plans

What we are looking for

  • Essential: 2+ years of relevant Marketing / PR experience.
  • Essential: Experience working with consumer brands and project management experience.
  • Desirable: Qualification(s) in journalism, marketing, PR, hospitality, and business is an advantage but not essential.
  • Desirable: Food & Beverage experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop and InDesign).
  • Demonstrate excellent written English skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 360 software.
