About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to elevate our client’s Service Operations across the UK, Ireland, and Europe. This role covers Supply Chain, Technical, Field Service, Workshop, Logistics, and Planning operations. With a team of approximately 250 employees in the UK & Ireland and 700 employees across Europe, this position offers a significant opportunity for career progression.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement innovative strategies to drive service operations, ensuring optimal profitability and high service standards.
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline processes and work practices to meet and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Enhance customer satisfaction and retention through proactive feedback and direct engagement, ensuring effective solution implementation.
  • Collaboration: Strengthen the synergy between Commercial and Service operations to exceed customer expectations and drive profitable outcomes.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilise data analysis to ensure SLAs are profitable and fit for purpose, providing clear insights into their commercial impact.
  • Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and motivation to diverse teams, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration.
  • Supplier Relations: Work closely with key equipment suppliers to improve operations and customer offerings.
  • Inventory Optimisation: Manage and optimise existing inventory to reduce stockholding costs.
  • Budget Management: Propose and justify budget requirements, ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Safety Compliance: Promote a safe working environment, adhering to quality management systems and regulatory requirements.



About You:

We are looking for an experienced leader within the realms of original equipment and/or aftermarket sales. This could be from any product type within these fields, such as machinery, vending, or plant equipment.


Key to success in the role is having the vision and structure to chart a path forward and enable further growth into Europe. The first 12 months will serve as a grounding period, with established teams and opportunities to refine and redefine processes before expanding into Europe.
