This is a hybrid role working 3 days per week from the Oxford headquarters. This role may require some travel (10%), for example for customer visits, conferences, and other training.


We are looking for an E-Lab Research and Compliance Coordinator who responsible for assisting in conducting scientific/clinical investigations in the OrganOx e-Lab, ensuring all activities performed in the e-Lab are compliant with OrganOx Quality Management, and documentation (GDP) at OrganOx.


Major Responsibilities


  • Conducting and supporting scientific investigations and experiments in accordance with OrganOx QMS and GDP
  • Planning, setting up and undertaking controlled experiments
  • Writing SOPs, experimental protocols and risk assessments
  • Recording, analysing and interpreting data
  • Writing reports, reviews and summaries
  • Demonstrating procedures
  • Collecting, preparing and/or testing samples
  • Maintaining, servicing, calibrating, cleaning of equipment and testing sterility of the equipment
  • Ensuring laboratory tidiness
  • Providing technical support
  • Presenting results to senior staff
  • Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments
  • Carrying out process/procedure audits
  • Ordering and maintaining stock and resources


Skills and Experience


  • Good understanding of laboratory principles
  • Interest in perfusion or transplant science
  • The ability to write clear investigational plans and reports
  • A good understanding of GDP compliance requirements
  • An understanding of control of biological contamination and biohazard waste
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational ability
