Our London Market Insurance client are looking to recruit an Operational Excellence Lead to join their Operations department in line with their growth initiative.


This role will lead process improvement and bring coherence between various departments to coordinate ways of working and ensure effective information sharing.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Working across multiple workstreams of operational change, coordinating senior stakeholders across various teams including IT, Finance, Underwriting, HR and Operations.
  • Work with Heads of departments on process improvements and embedding operational excellence governance.
  • Agreeing target metrics with various senior stakeholders to measure 'what good looks like'.
  • Facilitating workshops to document current-state processes, understand pain points and develop solutions.
  • Deliver comprehensive reporting on all activities, initiatives and progress.


Requirements:

  • Experience working with Target Operating Models, Process Mapping, Design Thinking and Workflow analysis.
  • Experience working within the Insurance domain is highly desirable for this position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams at varying levels of seniority.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Miro / Mural and Microsoft PowerPoint to bring ideas to life and Microsoft Excel to help with analytical problem solving.
