What you will be doing:


We are looking for a proactive and personable Technology Operations Lead. You will work across the business and with strategic partners to provide an outstanding technology service.

Tarabut operates a modern, cloud-first architecture and technology stack across the UK, UAE, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia. Our teams' mission is to implement and manage a repeatable and consistent technology service across these countries to give all Tarabut team members the same great experience.



You will be a key member of the TechOps Team responsible for leading daily operations of information technology and will work closely with both technical and non-technical teams to scope, source, implement, manage, maintain, and support various technologies and activities in alignment with industry best practice and the highest service standards.

You will be a hands-on technical manager able to work in both tactical and strategic modes required for continuous but responsive improvement. We will need you to:

  • Own the technology operations function, including the toolset and be comfortable in leading integration, automation, and orchestration where required to improve user experience.
  • Implement, maintain, and improve ITSM and instigate the correct procedural approaches for request, issue, incident, problem, and change management.
  • Instil effective ways of working with technology across the business communicating, collaborating, and influencing colleagues and stakeholders and ensuring project timelines are met.
  • Act as an escalation point of contact to coordinate complex multi-facetted projects/incidents/problems from initial triage to resolution.


What you will need for this role:

  • Experience across technology operations from procurement and vendor management, zero-touch provisioning, endpoint management, onboarding/offboarding, network management, access control, SaaS management, documentation, user support, induction, and training.
  • Hands-on technical lead, with expert knowledge of macOS and Windows as well as various cloud systems and technologies – Microsoft 365, Azure, Jira, Jira Service Mgmt., Confluence, ESET Endpoint Security, JumpCloud, NinjaOne, Munki, ABM, SSO, zero-trust/contextual access etc.
  • Experience working within a regulated technology environment, as well as international standards; ideally ISO 27001.
  • Advanced knowledge of service management disciplines.
  • Great stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence, manage expectations, and negotiate.
  • Experience tailoring communications to both technical/non-technical audiences
  • Technical and service management qualifications or memberships such as ITIL, MCSE or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in a cloud hosting environment such as AWS a plus
  • Experience in Open Banking, Financial Services, Banks, FinTech a plus
  • Experience of managing a small team or mentoring individuals.
